Privacy Policy

This privacy policy applies to these Clapham Digital mobile applications:

• Video Poker Edge — video poker strategy trainer
• Blackjack Edge — blackjack strategy trainer

It covers current and future Clapham Digital apps except where an app publishes its own policy, which it does when it needs permissions, a network connection or an optional shared feature the blanket terms below would describe incorrectly.

Apps with their own policy: Nowhere in Particular — it uses your location on-device to compute a bearing, and has an optional shared layer that publishes nothing until you answer a yes-or-no question the first time you play, so the "no network connections" statement below does not describe it.

Solitaire Edge — on iPhone and iPad it can connect to Apple’s Game Center; on Android your device backup can copy its saved game to your Google account. Its own policy is the one that applies to it and the statements below do not.

Wisp — it uses your location on-device to place you in the game’s world, and it downloads street maps from our map host, so the “no network connections” statement below does not describe it.

Shatterbeat — on iPhone and iPad it can connect to Apple’s Game Center and keeps your coins in your own iCloud account; on Android it uses Google Play Games and Google Play billing. It offers in-app purchases on both, so its own policy is the one that applies to it and the statements below do not.

Our apps do not collect or transmit any personal data. Period.

• No accounts or sign-ups required
• No analytics or usage tracking
• No advertising or ad tracking
• No network connections to external servers
• No third-party data sharing
• No crash reporting that includes personal data

We have no servers, and we receive no data from the apps whatsoever. Your device’s own backup is a separate thing: see how your data is stored.

This website is a separate thing from the apps, so it gets its own paragraph. These pages use Cloudflare Web Analytics, from Cloudflare, which hosts this site, to count page views and measure how quickly pages load. It records which page was viewed, the site that linked to it, and your country, device type, browser and operating system. It uses no cookies or local storage for analytics, and Cloudflare states that it does not use your IP address, browser details or other fixed attributes to follow you over time. We use it to see which pages get read. The light/dark switch saves your choice in your own browser and never sends it anywhere.

All game progress, statistics, and settings are stored on your device, using standard app storage. The apps never send this data anywhere, to us or to anyone else. Deleting an app deletes its data from your device.

On Android, if your phone’s backup is turned on, Android’s own backup can include the apps’ progress, statistics and settings in your Google account and restore them if you reinstall. That copy is made by Android, not by the apps. You can turn device backup off, or delete your device’s backup, in your Google account settings; those settings apply to the device’s backup as a whole, not to one app at a time.

On iPhone and iPad, the apps ask iOS to leave their data out of iCloud and computer backups. Apple treats that request as guidance rather than a guarantee, so a device backup could still include it.

If we ever change our data practices (we don't anticipate this), we will update this policy and the "last updated" date below.
