I make these apps, and I answer the mail.

Email me

hello@claphamdigital.com reaches me directly. Put the app’s name in the subject. I usually write back within a day or two.

Found a bug? Tell me the app, what device you're on, and what you did just before it broke. A screenshot helps. Questions and ideas are welcome too. I read everything.

Find your app

Every app plays offline, and your progress and settings stay on your device. Anything that does leave it is named under that app below.

Solitaire Edge

Free Klondike with a hint that says how sure it is and a coach that shows where a lost game slipped away. App page · Privacy policy.

Does it need an internet connection?
No. It collects no data. The app sends me nothing. Apple and Google may pass me anonymous crash reports from people who opted in to share them. On iPhone and iPad it can use Apple’s Game Center. On Android, your device backup can copy its saved game to your Google account.

Nowhere in Particular

A bearing, a range, and no route; you work out the roads. App page · Privacy policy.

Does it work with no signal?
Yes. The whole map of places is inside the app. Its one optional shared feature uses a connection when there is one and waits quietly when there isn’t. Once a day it also asks claphamdigital.com whether a newer list of places exists, whether or not sharing is on.

What leaves my phone?
Your coordinates are never published. If you turn on sharing, a finished hunt publishes a small record: which marker, how it ended, a coarse region taken from the marker’s position rather than yours, the day, whether the visit reached the place or was reported from the road, and a random number made on your install that changes every month. No name, no coordinate, no ad ID.

The one place your position does leave the phone is the map. Holding the MAP key draws a map around you, and drawing it means asking a map provider for the tiles at that spot: Apple on iOS, Google on Android. The privacy policy has the full detail, including what I cannot do.

Shatterbeat

A neon boss-fight game where every strike is locked to the beat. App page · Privacy policy.

Where do my scores go?
On iPhone and iPad the game itself sends nothing to me. If you play signed in to Game Center, your best time and bosses beaten go to its leaderboards, and through Apple’s developer tools I can see the top 100 names and scores on each leaderboard. If you are signed in to iCloud, your coin balance syncs through your own iCloud. On Android it uses Google Play Games, which sends your scores, achievements and coin ledger to your own Google account.

Something feels off.
Tell me the device and what you saw or heard. In a game built on timing, the details matter.

Syncopator

A rhythm game where every cut plays a note. App page · Privacy policy.

Where do my scores go?
Game Center on iPhone and iPad and Google Play Games on Android send your scores and achievements to Apple or Google, if you use them. Through Apple’s developer tools I can see the top 100 names and scores on each iOS leaderboard. The privacy policy spells out the rest, including Google Play Billing.

A purchase went wrong.
The App Store or Google Play takes the payment and keeps the receipt. Send me the order number and I’ll help sort it out.

Video Poker Edge

Video poker strategy with instant feedback. App page · Privacy policy.
